Today my readership passed 200,000.<\/p>\n<p>I have posted 220 blog articles on this site, and have approved 409 comments that have been posted to the Blognosticator.<\/p>\n<p>I have also received over 1,500,000 spam comments (probably more), almost all of which have been trapped by Akismet, a plug-in to WordPress that I subscribe to (thank you, Akismet!).<\/p>\n<p>I have weathered some periods of Writer\u2019s Blog, where I can\u2019t think of anything to write, and I have had periods of tremendous output where I write a blog every day for several days in a row. Such is the nature of this form of journalism.<\/p>\n<p>The most important part of this blog is you. Thank you for reading, and thank you for your comments. Please don\u2019t send spam; I\u2019m a vegetarian.<\/p>\n<p><em>p.s.
