There is also a dark side to blogging. I have had 91,441 spam hits on the blog site since its inception in July, 2011, 67,535 this year alone. Almost all of these have been effectively tagged as spam by Akismet, a commercial service to which I subscribe. So, thank you, Akismet, for making my life 91,441 times easier.<\/p>\n

I try to write at least once each week, sometimes I do much better. And, I try to keep writing about topics that I think my readers will enjoy. You really seem to want to know how to read a micrometer! My journeys around the world and within my own neighborhood are also of interest to you.<\/p>\n
