Greetings, Blognosticator readers,
I was involved in a collision between me on my bicycle and a pick-up truck on Monday morning. I am now starting my healing and recovery. I made some new friends from the local Fire Department, I got to ride in an ambulance, and I got to see the inside of a CAT scanner several times.
I spent three days in the local hospital, was released to the care of friends who own a one-story home, and now am at least able to use a computer again.
I can type, but I can’t walk.
I’ll be working on that in the coming weeks and months.
And, expect more of my usual fare on the Blognosticator soon. I am doing my best to return to a “normal” life as soon as possible.
Best wishes to you all,
Brian
Sorry to hear about your accident. I know what it’s like as I broke my leg 3 years ago out on a photo shoot in the mountains. Had to be helicoptered out. Back to normal after six months of rehab. So take it easy and thanks for your interesting posts.
Sorry to hear your news. I too had a bad accident, but rehab worked out great – physiotherapy and DVD box set-therapy were invaluable – and I now forget I was ever incapacitated. I wish you the same smooth recovery.
We are rooting for your steady recovery!
Read about your accident and wishing you a speedy recovery! (I don’t think you’d recognize my name, but you took some great pics of my daughter and husband at the Heritage Oaks fun run diaper derby last Sept. )
sorry to hear the accident. I never like to bike in traffic. I hope you are feeling ether and will definitely see the exhibit. Your presentation was great at the last MUG
